Launching of the K-AgriNet Program
The K-AgriNet at FITS-Lipa was launched with Ms. Digna P. Narvacan delivering the welcome remarks. Dr. Bessie M. Burgos, TOPD-PCARRD Director and National Techno Gabay Coordinator, gave an overview of the K-AgriNet Program. Messages in support of the program were also rendered by Mr. Jose Lambio, Asst. City Agriculturist in behalf of Mayor Vilma Santos: Dir. Aida P. Carino, Regional Technical Director in behalf of Regional Executive Director Dennis B. Araullo, and Dr. Candida Adalla, UPLB College of Agriculture Dean, in behalf of UPLB Chancellor and RRDCC Chair Luis Rey I. Velasco. Seventy participants attended the event.

K-AgriNet e-Consortia and e-Farm Training
The K-AgriNet e-Consortia and e-Farm Training was held last 20-24 November 2006 at the SLPC, Lucban, Quezon. It was formally opened by Dr. EPSupangco. The resource speakers, facilitators and the 32 participants from the various FITS Centers were introduced by ECJacinto. The resource persons for the training came from PCARRD, ASTI and b2bpricenow.com/b2bcenter. The training covered the various topics and lessons such as Introduction to ICT, Connectivity and Video conferencing.
